De-shedding shampoo is applied into pets coat and rinsed. De-shedding solution is massaged in coat for 15 minutes to help loosen the under coat. A high velocity dryer and manual de-shedding session eliminates the excess coat. The de-shedding tool is used to extract loose hair and undercoat. For matted dogs, de-matting is the removal of tangles and knots. While minor tangles may be resolved by brushing or combing, excessive matting must be carefully removed with electric clippers and scissors.
